It’s a good way to keep one hand in with American popular culture whilst still staying up to date on local news; and the magazine doesn’t shy away from dealing with some difficult subjects. Definitely one to look at if you want a balanced view of Jordanian life.

A fun site that deals with life in Jordan through slightly irreverent eyes, Jaraad’s Blog is a great place to go if you want to understand the good, the bad and the downright amusing of life there. Malik Tubaishat, the blog’s author, posts regularly and writes about everything from international friendships, to missing your family, to the differences between buying a sandwich in the US, the UK and Jordan.
