Who are you?

I'm a 50-something US Air Force retired woman. I like working out and do it just about every day. I have 2 dogs, a Schnauzer and a Pekingese/mix.

I really love animals so I volunteer with two rescue groups, ABRAZA in Zarcero and Adopciones Grecia in Grecia. I became vegan a few years ago and it completely changed my life. I was healthy but I had started to notice the middle aged spread that people talk about.   more ...

Who are you?

Matt & Niki Meeks, children Max 4 ½, Sara 2 ½ and Sofi 5 weeks and Coffee Dog

We consider ourselves a young family, only because of the age of our children.

After working 20 years for the same company, growing weary of the negativity around us, and having to set appointments for our children to play with friends, we started soul searching for an avenue to a better, less complicated way of life. We are from the great state of Texas and still proud to be Texans, but we are adventurous and love to travel so we started talking about an international move.   more ...

I enjoy traveling and feeling the energy of the morning in a new place.   more ...

Jerry Nelson
Who are you?

My name is Jerry Nelson. I am a 57yo male from America. As a freelance photojournalist, I get to travel many different places and experience many different things. Much different than the life I would've had if I'd have stayed in the small mountain town in Virginia where I was raised.

Where, when and why did you move abroad?

While traveling so much is a form of getting “away”, I wanted somewhere that wasn't America; somewhere that people might appreciate the possessions they owned and appreciate the people around them.   more ...
